The written tests of the Baccalaureate exam - autumn session have begun. Over 33,000 candidates have registered for all tests or for those not passed in previous sessions.

The autumn session of the national baccalaureate exam 2026 starts on Monday, with the test in Romanian Language and Literature, and will end on August 13. According to the Ministry of Education, over 33,000 candidates have registered for all tests or, depending on the results obtained in previous sessions and recognized as such, only for the tests not passed.

The tests start at 9:00 AM, and for writing the papers/solving the subjects, three hours are allocated, counted from the moment the distribution of subjects in the examination room is completed.

During the days when the written tests are held, the Ministry of Education and Research provides interested parties, between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, the TELVERDE line 0800801100 for reporting any dysfunctions regarding the organization/conduct of the exam.

The final results will be communicated on Monday, August 24.
