On Friday, dozens of employees from the Petromidia refinery in Năvodari organized a spontaneous protest to express their dissatisfaction with the management's offer during salary negotiations. Workers gathered in the area of the office building, and the number of participants could increase as employees from other shifts join in. Union leader Auraș Stănilă stated that negotiations are ongoing, but the management's offer does not include a salary increase, only bonuses. A new meeting with management is scheduled for 1:00 PM, and if employees do not accept the bonuses, protests may continue. The refinery's operations have not been significantly affected, and the company has not yet provided an official response to the employees' demands.
