The SMURD helicopter from Târgu Mureș was mobilized to intervene in the case of a mountaineering accident in the Valea Albițoarei area, Bușteni, where four climbers fell approximately 10 meters after the safety rope broke. The Department for Emergency Situations announced that the intervention teams are mobilizing to rescue the victims, who, according to initial information, are conscious. Mountain rescuers are intervening at the scene of the incident, and the SMURD helicopter has been requested to provide support. In recent days, SMURD paramedics have also intervened in other tragedies, including in Ialomița County, where a 7-year-old child died after being hit by a train, and in Vrancea County, where a 31-year-old woman died after being trapped under agricultural machinery. In both cases, criminal cases have been opened to investigate the circumstances of the accidents.
