Simtel, an important player in renewable energy in Romania, has signed a contract worth 217 million lei with HEPA Energy for the design and construction of a 68 MWp photovoltaic park and a 180 MWh BESS energy storage system. The project, estimated to last 12 months, will include the delivery of a hybrid PV+BESS power plant and maintenance services for 10 years. This is a significant step for the renewable energy sector in Romania, contributing to the diversification of energy sources. Simtel has recently signed other contracts, totaling a value of 670 million lei.
