As part of Operation Jupiter, the police in Constanța conducted ten home searches, discovering abandoned animal carcasses in fields and in an improvised pit. The investigation revealed that several individuals may have illegally slaughtered sheep and cattle, and their remains were discarded in various locations. Following the searches, documents related to the traceability of the animals were seized, as well as 50 ear tags without a clear destination. Additionally, unauthorized slaughtering spaces and remains from the slaughtering of animals were found. The police have initiated measures to sanitize the area, and investigations continue to establish responsibilities in this case of waste abandonment.
