Serious accident in Vrancea: Five injured, including two children

On the night from Friday to Saturday, a road accident on DN2-E85, in the locality of Golești, Vrancea County, resulted in the injury of five people, including two children.

A 18-year-old young man, who was driving a car, collided with a van after failing to yield. He was found unconscious and was transported in serious condition to the Neurosurgery Hospital in Galați. Among the victims is an 8-year-old boy, with arm injuries, and a 13-year-old teenager, with injuries to his legs and face, as well as a 42-year-old man, with head and arm injuries. The 25-year-old driver of the van suffered injuries to his back and leg.

All victims were transported to the Emergency Reception Unit in Focșani for medical care. The police have opened a criminal case for bodily harm due to negligence and continue investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident.
