Serious accident on DN 66: Traffic restricted in Gorj

The Infotraffic Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police announced on Saturday morning that road traffic is restricted on DN 66 Filiași-Târgu Jiu, in the locality of Țânțăreni, Gorj County, due to a serious accident. The incident involved a truck and a car.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was urgently transported to the hospital, while the driver of the truck was found trapped, without vital signs. Road traffic has been diverted to DJ 674 Turceni-Ionești.

On other main road arteries, such as A1, A2, A3, A7, DN 1 and DN 7, traffic is flowing on a dry roadway, with good visibility and normal traffic values, according to information provided by Infotraffic.
