A road accident on DN 22 in Tulcea resulted in the death of the driver of a truck and injuries to 7 people, including children

On Monday afternoon, a serious accident took place on DN 22 in Tulcea county, involving a truck registered in Ukraine and two cars. The truck overturned and the driver, a Ukrainian man, died on the spot, trapped under the vehicle. A total of eight people were involved, including five adults and three children. One woman and one child were taken to hospital and another 11-year-old child suffered a panic attack. The response by emergency crews was complex and traffic was completely blocked in the area. The authorities expect traffic to resume around 18:00 once the roadway has been cleared.
