Serious accident in Galați: A minibus collided with a truck, causing the injury of two people.

A serious accident occurred on Thursday morning, around 5:10 AM, on Brăilei Street in Galați, when a minibus driven by a 61-year-old man from Suceava made a left turn without yielding to a truck driven by a 54-year-old man from Galați. The impact caused the minibus to catch fire.

As a result of the accident, the minibus driver and a 60-year-old passenger were injured and transported to the hospital for medical care. Breathalyzer tests showed that the truck driver had a concentration of 0.21 mg/l of pure alcohol in his breath. Authorities have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident and have filed a criminal case for bodily harm due to negligence.
