Accident in Dâmbovița: Red Plan activated after the collision of a minibus with students and a truck

An accident between a minibus with 11 students and a truck occurred on DN7, in the locality of Tărtășești, Dâmbovița, on Friday morning, activating the Red Intervention Plan.

At 7:50 AM, SMURD teams and a helicopter were mobilized to rescue the victims. ISU Dâmbovița confirmed that, following the accident, 13 people were involved: 11 children and 2 adults. At the scene, 11 SMURD teams, two fire-fighting vehicles, a rescue vehicle, an advanced medical point, and five ambulances from the County Ambulance Service intervened. The medical assessment showed that 5 people, including 4 minors and 1 adult, required transport to the hospital for further investigations. Three children were taken to Grigore Alexandrescu Hospital in Bucharest, and the fourth to a medical unit in Târgoviște. The Red Plan was deactivated around 9:00 AM, and all patients are conscious and cooperative.
