A 14-year-old student from Timiș suffered serious head injuries after an accident with an electric scooter.

A 14-year-old student from the eighth grade of Dumbrăvița Gymnasium in Timiș was involved in a serious accident, suffering severe head injuries, and his life is in danger. The incident occurred around noon when the boy, along with some classmates, left the school premises to ride an electric scooter. For reasons still unclear, the student lost control of the scooter and was violently thrown onto the roadway, suffering a severe cranial trauma.

School representatives announced that the student is in a coma, under strict medical supervision. Following this incident, the school has initiated administrative investigations to determine how the children left the educational institution during school hours. The police have opened a criminal case for bodily harm due to negligence, investigating the circumstances of the accident. School authorities emphasize their commitment to ensuring the safety of students and preventing the recurrence of such tragedies.
