On Wednesday, the Senate will hold an extraordinary session in which it will approve two government emergency ordinances and debate the reform of the civil service pensions. The bill, already adopted by the Chamber of Deputies, provides for raising the retirement age for magistrates to 65 by 2045. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan recently discussed with magistrates the reform of special pensions, which includes adjustments in the calculation formula and transition periods. The project aims to ensure social fairness and efficiency of the pension system.
