On January 28, police from Sector 1 conducted several searches in Bucharest, Ilfov, and Dâmbovița, in a criminal case involving fraud, practicing a profession without a license, and sexual assault. Among those targeted is psychotherapist Cristian Andrei, accused by several women of sexual abuse during therapy sessions, acts that allegedly spanned a period of 20 years. Additionally, six warrants will be executed to continue the investigations. Cristian Andrei, a psychiatrist specialized in child neuropsychiatry, has been accused of practicing psychotherapy without certification, lacking the right to practice freely in the Unique Register of Psychologists in Romania.
