On August 7, Constanța police officers carried out 34 raids in Bucharest, Constanța, Tulcea, Prahova and Buzău, in a case of pimping. Investigations revealed that, between 2018-2024, the individuals involved induced women to engage in prostitution, facilitating their activity in order to obtain material benefits. The methods used included frequently changing locations to avoid the authorities' attention. At the end of the action, ten people were taken for questioning.
