The Capital Police is carrying out a large-scale operation, with 38 searches in Bucharest and the counties of Ilfov, Argeș and Buzău, in a case of the constitution of an organized criminal group. The targeted groups sexually exploited young girls, recruited using the 'loverboy' method, and transported them to various European countries. The suspects obtained substantial material benefits and the victims were subjected to mental and physical coercion into prostitution. Hearings will also be held at the DIICOT on Wednesday.
