Believers, after waiting in line for up to 13 hours, thought that access was completely forbidden and tried to force their way in, pushing against the gendarmes. The gendarmerie intervened quickly, explaining that the closure was temporary and that access could be made through the side entrance. After clarifications, the parishioners were directed to retreat to the central square, and access was resumed in a controlled manner around 06:30. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Considering the large number of believers, approximately 100,000, the Romanian Patriarchate decided to extend the worship program until November 5, and the waiting time for access is estimated between 6 and 8 hours, updated in real time through an application of the Archdiocese of Bucharest.
