In the last 24 hours, Salvamont Romania reported an alarming number of emergency requests, receiving 121 calls for interventions in the mountain area. The rescuers managed to save 123 people in difficulty, of which 61 required medical transport to the hospital, carried out with the help of SAJ, SMURD, or Salvamont ambulances. Additionally, the Salvamont teams handled 41 requests for information and recommendations related to mountain tourist trails. In the context of this unwanted record, Salvamont Romania urges caution and responsibility in mountain activities, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to reduce mountain accidents.
