In 2025, Salvamont Romania carried out 7,247 rescue interventions, saving 8,025 people, an increase of 463 compared to 2024. The activity was supported by a daily workforce of 450-600 rescuers, operating in 140 bases and posts. In the winter season, there were 5,048 interventions, mostly on ski slopes. Additionally, 111 search and rescue operations were conducted with canine teams and 78 with drones. Salvamont maintained a response rate of 100% to requests, demonstrating effective organization. Furthermore, over 84,600 assistance actions were carried out and 100,000 flyers with behavior rules for tourists were issued. However, the human resource remains deficient, with an operational capacity of only 18.75% of the required amount.
