Russia's hybrid war has become a constant threat to Romania and other countries in the European Union, particularly affecting the energy sector. Remus Ștefureac, director of INSCOP, emphasized the importance of informing and consulting the population regarding perceptions of the economy, especially in the context of the energy crisis.

Approximately 20-30% of Romanians are facing difficulties in paying energy bills. The INSCOP/NewMoney barometer shows that 42.8% of Romanians believe that the wrong decisions made by the authorities are the main cause of rising prices, followed by companies' desire to achieve higher profits. Additionally, the influence of Russian propaganda on Romanian public opinion is becoming increasingly evident, affecting perceptions of economic and social issues.
