MoD: New attacks by Russia in Ukraine, near the river border with Romania. RO-Alert message issued in Tulcea.

On Friday morning, the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) reported new attacks by Russia in Ukraine, near the river border with Romania. A group of 9 drones heading towards Ukrainian airspace was detected, but it was not spotted in national airspace. As a result, MApN issued a RO-Alert message for the population in the northern part of Tulcea County.

Explosions were reported in the areas of Izmail and Kilia, on the Ukrainian bank of the Danube, where Russia attacked civilian and infrastructure targets. The air alert was raised at 4:03 AM, and MApN mentioned that it informs allied structures in real-time about the situation generated by the attacks, maintaining permanent contact with them.
