München hosted a conference organized by ROUNIT in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, attended by about 60 Romanian entrepreneurs and professionals from Germany. The event aimed to discuss opportunities for economic development and strengthen the ties between Romanian entrepreneurs in the diaspora and the country. Journalist Mihai Octavian Rusu opened the conference, emphasizing the importance of dialogue. The president of ROUNIT, Eugen Terteleac, proposed a 'fiscal peace' mechanism to stimulate the repatriation of Romanian capital.
Vice President Marius Hărățatu presented the conclusions of a study on the role of diaspora entrepreneurs in the national economy. Cecilia Văduva from the Ministry of Investments discussed available funding programs, while General Consul Mihaela-Mălina Diculescu-Blebea highlighted the contribution of the Romanian community. In the end, new ROUNIT ambassadors were announced to strengthen collaboration with the diaspora. The event was supported by several institutional and private partners.
