Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu emphasized the importance of transparency in the process of reforming the National Forest Agency - Romsilva, receiving hundreds of messages with proposals. The reorganization provides for the regionalization of forestry directorates, a 90% reduction in the number of directors and savings of 19 million lei. The aim is fair and sustainable forest management, free from the influence of interest groups. The ministry is preparing a legislative package for further reforms.
