At mid-2025, Rompetrol Rafinare reported a loss of $53.19 million, a 29% improvement from 2024. The company significantly increased the volume of raw materials processed by 62% and fuel production by 65%, generating a gross turnover of $2.8 billion. The Petromidia and Vega refineries contributed to stable fuel supplies and the petrochemicals division reduced net losses to $14 million. Wholesale sales increased by 33%, strengthening market position.
