According to a survey conducted by Save the Children, 36% of Romanian parents from abroad plan to come to Romania for summer vacation, while 41% can't because of financial problems or the difficulty to take vacation. Most parents consider maintaining emotional ties with their children a major challenge. Save the Children announces initiatives such as "Call them every day! Connecting across borders", which aims to support communication between parents and children and raise awareness of the needs of children left at home.
