British police have arrested a 38-year-old Romanian man on suspicion of helping Russian intelligence GRU commit acts of sabotage in connection with a fire at a DHL warehouse in Birmingham that broke out in July 2024. The package that started the fire arrived by air, but details of its destination remain unclear. British authorities are investigating a possible link to other similar fires in Europe, and the Romanian was released on bail after his arrest.
