At the 2025 International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad in Mumbai, India, Romania won four gold medals. The medal winners are Mendel Emanuel Mendelsohn, Teodor Bichir, Bogdan Rusea and Vlad Bolohan. The competition included five different events and the preparation of the team was carried out by the "Stefan cel Mare" University of Suceava and other institutions. Coordination was provided by professors in the field.
