Dragoș Pîslaru, Minister of European Funds, said that Romania will not lose non-reimbursable funds from the NRRP, with confirmation from Brussels. According to recent assessments, €6.3 billion of the projects cannot be completed by August 2026, but additional measures of €540 million are proposed for resilience. The €2.54 billion investment package has been agreed for key areas, ensuring there is no risk to non-reimbursable funds.
