The Minister of Economy, Bogdan Ivan, has announced that the NATO Ammunition Center of Excellence will be set up in Dragomirești, Dâmbovița County, for the whole of Europe. In this regard, the Romanian state has signed an agreement with the USA, which provides for the production of 120 mm and 155 mm caliber ammunition

The NATO Ammunition Center of Excellence in Dragomirești will produce NATO-compatible ammunition, including for the Abrams tank. Romania has signed an agreement with the US government to attract 220 million dollars, facilitating partnerships with General Dynamics. The strategic investment will strengthen relations with the US and allow access to European funds for the long-term development of the Romanian defense industry.
