The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, together with the head of DSU, Raed Arafat, had a meeting with Florika Fink-Hooijer, the general director of HERA, to discuss strengthening the capacity of the medical system in Romania to manage health crises. In the context of the high pressure on emergency reception units, Rogobete emphasized the need for clear protocols to respond effectively in critical situations.

He highlighted the importance of preparing intensive care units and the collaboration between intervention structures and the health system. HERA, as a European authority, has the role of supporting the development of partnerships and projects that will improve the response of health systems in the face of health crises.
