At the meeting of the National Committee for Romania's Accession to the OECD, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized the importance of continuing institutional efforts and accelerating the adoption of the necessary legislative changes. Romania, which became a candidate country in 2022, is in the technical assessment phase and needs to implement the OECD recommendations in order to align with international standards. Bolojan reaffirmed that accession in 2026 is a strategic priority, offering opportunities for reforms based on best practices.
