On the morning of November 25, the radars of the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) detected two successive incursions of drones into the airspace of Romania, in the areas of Tulcea and Galați counties. On that morning, an aerial object was observed coming from the direction of Vâlcove (Ukraine) towards Romania, which led to the takeoff of two Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft for monitoring. At 06:55, a Ro-Alert message was issued for Tulcea county, and later, at 07:37, F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft were also deployed. A second incursion was detected in Galați county, and the situation is still being monitored by MApN. Law no. 73 of 2025 allows for the downing of drones that unlawfully enter national airspace.
