Melania Trump invites Mirabela Grădinaru, in the context of the roles of first ladies, to the "Fostering the Future Together" summit in Washington D.C., dedicated to the digital education of children.

Romania will be represented by an official delegation at the inaugural summit of the global coalition 'Fostering the Future Together', dedicated to the digital education of children, which will take place in Washington D.C. on March 24-25, 2026. The invitation was extended by Melania Trump, the wife of the U.S. president, to Mirabela Grădinaru, the life partner of president Nicușor Dan.

The Romanian delegation, which includes state advisors and Mirabela Grădinaru, will participate in working sessions at the State Department and at a high-level meeting at the White House, where discussions will focus on digital education and online safety for children. The summit aims to promote international cooperation for the well-being of children through education and technology, expanding access to modern solutions, including those based on artificial intelligence.

Additionally, the delegation will hold meetings with representatives of educational organizations and will visit medical centers, highlighting Romania's commitment to digital education.
