On the night from Thursday to Friday, the Russian Federation carried out a new drone attack on civilian and infrastructure targets in Ukraine, near the border with Romania.
In response, the Romanian authorities issued a RO-Alert message for the population in the northern part of Tulcea County and deployed an IAR 330 Puma helicopter of the Romanian Air Forces to monitor the situation. The Ministry of National Defense (MApN) reported that no unauthorized incursions into Romanian airspace were recorded and that no incidents involving aircraft occurred on national territory. The helicopter took off at 03:57 after aerial threats were detected approximately 31 kilometers east of Sulina.
The alert was lifted at 04:23, and MApN emphasized that it informs allied structures in real-time about incidents generated by Russia's attacks.
