Mircea Abrudean, the president of the Senate, announced that Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine wish to establish a Trilateral Chamber of Commerce, which will provide a common platform for companies from the three countries and from other member states of the European Union.

This initiative will facilitate the establishment of public-private partnerships and consortia for cross-border projects focused on the reconstruction of infrastructure, the economy, and communities affected by the war in Ukraine.

Abrudean emphasizes the importance of Romania as a logistics hub for the post-conflict reconstruction of Ukraine and highlights the need for strong economic partnerships to protect territorial sovereignty. The initiative is supported by over 250 institutions and organizations from the three countries and is included in the strategic document of the Alliance of Eurodeputies from Eastern Europe for the Reconstruction of Ukraine.
