According to the weather forecasts issued by ANM, Romania will experience unusually high temperatures and a severe lack of rainfall between May 26 and June 22, 2026. In the week of May 25 to June 1, temperatures will exceed climatological norms, especially in the western regions, while precipitation will be deficient at the national level.


For the period of June 1 to June 8, it is expected that temperatures will remain high, and the rainfall regime will be deficient in the southwest and locally in the west. Between June 8 and June 15, average temperatures will continue to be above normal values, and rainfall will be less in the north, west, and locally in the southwest.


In the week of June 15 to June 22, a thermal average is expected to remain above specific norms, with a significant impact in the western half of the country, where rainfall will remain deficient.
