At Davos, the Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, had strategic discussions with international leaders, including Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel, and Eric Trump, the President of the Trump Organization. Ivan highlighted Romania's role in a rapidly changing world, emphasizing the importance of additional energy production to support the industries of the future, especially in the field of artificial intelligence.

He mentioned that Romania has a strategic energy portfolio, including the expansion of the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant's capacities and projects in hydropower. Ivan stated that these initiatives represent an opportunity for Romania to become a regional energy hub, having credibility and concrete projects in front of American partners.
