Florin Barbu, the Minister of Agriculture of Romania, signed a cooperation protocol with his Chinese counterpart, Han Jun, which allows the export of dairy products, fish, and processed chicken meat from Romania to China. The announcement was made on Facebook, highlighting the importance of opening a huge market for Romanian products and strengthening the country's position as a supplier of value-added products.
Barbu mentioned that Romania is also preparing for the expansion of grain and pork exports. The signed memorandum will facilitate collaboration in the fields of food security, agri-food processing, and the exchange of modern technologies. Romanian authorities will open a platform at ANSVSA to inform processing companies about export opportunities.
