A young Romanian has obtained a driving license 20 times for others, earning tens of thousands of euros.

At the age of 23, a Romanian managed to accumulate a small fortune in France by taking driving tests in place of other people. Collaborating with the director of a driving school, he used false documents to present himself at the exams, earning considerable sums. The fraud was discovered following an investigation, and the young man was caught with fake documents. He and the school director will be tried in January 2026 for fraud, risking up to 5 years in prison.
