A portion of the roadway collapsed on Mihai Bravu Street, at number 307, causing traffic restrictions in the direction from Calea Vitan towards Camil Ressu Boulevard. The Bucharest Municipal Company Termoenergetica intervened to assess the situation, considering that the area contains the South Heating Main 2, which has been operational since 1972 and is included in the modernization program through POIM. Preliminary assessments showed the deterioration of 3-4 covering slabs of the heating gallery, each measuring approximately 4.5 m in length and 1 m in width. The interventions are being carried out mechanically, with the aim of stabilizing the perimeter and removing unstable elements. Access for the teams will be allowed only after confirming safety conditions. The situation is continuously monitored, and the necessary technical measures for restoring traffic will be implemented soon.
