Road accident involving vehicles on DN 72, between Ploiești and Târgoviște, two people injured

On Thursday, July 2, a road accident occurred on national road 72, between Ploiești and Târgoviște, in Prahova County, involving six vehicles, including four vans and two cars.

The incident took place outside the locality of Ariceștii Rahtivani, and the drivers of the vehicles were men aged between 25 and 60 years. Following the accident, a 43-year-old driver and a 24-year-old passenger were injured and were urgently transported to the hospital for medical care. The police conducted breathalyzer tests and tests for detecting psychoactive substances, with negative results.

Currently, road traffic is restricted to allow for on-site investigation and the clearing of the roadway.
