A 17-year-old teenager from the municipality of Bârlad is being investigated by the police after being involved in a traffic accident that occurred on the night of June 11, in the municipality of Tecuci. According to investigators, the young man was driving a car without a valid driver's license, and at one point lost control of the vehicle and hit the curb of a roundabout, then being projected into a metal guardrail. Although he suffered injuries from the impact, he left the scene of the accident before the intervention teams arrived. Subsequent checks showed that the car had been stolen that same night from the locality of Munteni. Tests for alcohol and psychoactive substances returned negative results, and the police continue their investigations for driving without a license, theft for use, leaving the scene of the accident, and bodily harm through negligence.
