Road accident in Bucharest: Three injured after a drunk driver caused a collision

On Tuesday morning, around 04:55, a traffic accident occurred in Bucharest, at the intersection of Iuliu Maniu Boulevard and Apusului Street. A 24-year-old man, who had consumed alcohol, collided with another vehicle driven by a 47-year-old woman.

As a result of the impact, three people were injured and transported to the hospital for medical care. The man was tested with the Alcooltest device, with a result of 0.98 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. The police are conducting investigations for the crimes of bodily harm through negligence and driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office next to the Sector 6 Court.

The authorities continue investigations to establish all the circumstances of the accident.
