Tulcea: A new RO-Alert message for residents in the Romanian-Ukrainian border area. The Air Force Staff has detected "the existence of some units moving towards the border area between Romania and Ukraine."

The population in the northern part of Tulcea County was warned again on Friday about the possibility of objects falling from the airspace, after "targets in motion towards the border area between Romania and Ukraine" were detected.

IGSU statement:

"Today, around 12:00 PM, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations sent an information and warning message through the RO-ALERT system to the population in the northern area of Tulcea County.

The message is preventive and concerns the possibility of objects falling from the airspace. In this context, minimum safety measures are recommended, such as taking shelter and following the authorities' instructions, depending on the evolution of the situation."
