In this morning, the residents of Galați County were alerted via RO-Alert messages regarding Russian attacks on the port of Reni, located on the Danube, near the border with Romania. The message warns about the possibility of falling objects from the airspace and recommends that people take shelter. This is the first time such messages have been issued in the morning, instead of at night. The Emergency Situations Inspectorate confirmed that unknown objects may have entered Romanian national airspace, most likely in Galați County. This alert comes in the context of a recent series of Russian airstrikes on energy infrastructure in Ukraine, which took place on the night from Monday to Tuesday.
