The Bucharest Local Police imposed a fine of 70,000 lei on a restaurant in the Herăstrău area for improper disposal of bulky waste.

The incident was reported behind the building, where broken furniture, old hardware, and pallets were found thrown next to the already full containers. Authorities emphasized that this is the third sanction imposed on the same operator, highlighting the importance of adhering to environmental rules. Although the restaurant explained that it was waiting for the waste to be collected by the sanitation service, the police considered the disposal unacceptable, given that it was not related to a renovation. In January, the restaurant had previously been fined 5,000 lei for the same offense.
