A repatriation flight organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs took off from Muscat, Oman, carrying 127 Romanian citizens, of which 95 are minors. They were affected by the security crisis in the Middle East and were contacted by consular teams to be included on the flight list. The aircraft, which had a delay of approximately three and a half hours, is scheduled to arrive at Henri Coandă International Airport.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs specified that the flight was fully booked by Romanian citizens, and 30% of the capacity was allocated to European citizens from other states. So far, over 1,000 Romanians have been repatriated through flights organized under the European Civil Protection Mechanism. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that citizens check the information provided by airlines and only go to the airport when they are notified. Furthermore, the flight was marked by controversies related to the access of former Prime Minister Victor Ponta's daughter, but the repatriation operation continued as planned.
