Red storm warning in Timiș and Caraș-Severin, heavy rain and strong gusts

Meteorologists have issued a red code for storms and significant rainfall for the counties of Timiș and Caraș-Severin, valid until 19:20. Between 18:20 and 19:10, violent weather phenomena are expected, including gusts over 90 km/h, torrential downpours of 25-40 l/m², frequent lightning strikes, and medium-sized hail (2-4 cm).

The affected areas include localities such as Reșița, Caransebeș, Nădrag, and others. Additionally, the ANM has updated warnings, mentioning orange codes for other localities in the counties of Dolj, Mehedinți, Caraș-Severin, and Timiș.

Authorities have issued warning messages for the population, emphasizing the importance of caution in the face of these severe weather phenomena.
