The authorities in Giurgiu activated the red intervention plan after a minibus with 16 passengers overturned on DN5

On Saturday morning, the authorities in Giurgiu County activated the red intervention plan following a serious road accident, in which a minibus with 16 passengers overturned on national road 5, near the locality of Plopșoru, in the direction towards Giurgiu. The incident occurred under conditions that required a rapid response, which is why ISU Giurgiu decided to activate the intervention plan.

Intervention teams from ISU Giurgiu and ISU Bucharest-Ilfov were sent to the scene, including a rescue vehicle, a vehicle for transporting multiple victims, an advanced medical point, a firefighting vehicle, and eight ambulances, to ensure the care and transport of the victims.
