At the Reșița County Hospital, the authorities activated the red intervention plan after dense smoke appeared in a room where an MRI machine was being installed, caused by a short circuit in the electrical system. According to ISU Caraș-Severin, the preventive evacuation affected several people from the Surgery and Maternity Department, with some patients being moved to the Gynecology Department. The red plan was activated for approximately 20 minutes, and the fire was quickly located and extinguished. Currently, the intervention teams are working to clear the smoke from the room.
