The European Consumer Centre (ECC Romania) has issued recommendations for citizens on the occasion of Black Friday, highlighting the importance of safety in online shopping. Consumers are advised to verify the legitimacy of stores, including the structure of the website and the terms of sale, ensuring that contact information is clear.

It is also essential to analyze prices, as during the discount period both the reduced price and the previous price must be displayed. ECC warns against commercial messages that create pressure and recommends secure payment methods, avoiding bank transfers. Additionally, consumers benefit from a legal compliance guarantee of two years for purchased products, and the right of return is 14 days. Black Friday will take place on November 7, but the offers have already started.
